About Lopolopo

A Foundation Built on Purpose & Joy

Lopolopo Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that educates, empowers and inspires women through science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics.

Our Mission

Lopolopo Inc aims to address, educate, coordinate, and provide awareness, access and education to women in the areas of science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics.

Our Story

Lopolopo was conceived in 2018 by Prenthis Aguilar as a way to celebrate life and share the blessings of a career in STEM. It began as a platform where women could discover, engage with and be inspired by science and technology.

In 2020 Lopolopo Inc was formed as a nonprofit corporation, and in 2021 the IRS recognized it as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Since then we have provided grants to women-focused organizations, published practical technology education, and built relationships with community groups and universities.

Today our work centers on women 30 and older — women who are changing careers, re-entering the workforce or simply determined to master the technology shaping their lives. Our newest initiative, RISE in STEM, adds structured mentoring and hands-on digital-skills training for women in New York City.
